At the risk of overlooking and
potentially insulting one of my esteemed colleagues I would
like to thank the courageous physicians who truly pioneered
the work started in 1978 by the late Gene Reynolds with ICR’s
in keratoconus and ectasia including: Most notably Joseph Colin,
David Schanzlin, the late Michael Kritzinger, Dimitreous Siganos,
Ionas Pallikaris, Carlo Lovisolo, Emanuel Rosen, Beatrice Cochner, Thomas
Neuhann, Brian Boxer Wachler, Joseph Flemming, Steven Verity and many others whom I haven’t mentioned without whose initial work we
wouldn’t be able to benefit our patients with this technology today.
